BRITISH MOVEMENT - A short history
Founded in the summer of 1968 by veteran NS activist Colin Jordan and a small group of close comrades. Colin Jordan was the Movements National Chairman until his retirement in 1974, his position being taken over by the National Secretary of the period, Michael McLaughlin. The BM originally operated from Mr Jordan's home in Coventry until the National Chairmanship transferred to Mike McLaughlin and moved first to Bebington on Merseyside and later to offices in Shotton in North Wales. During the period 1977 to 1983 the BM saw its greatest levels of public activity and was at its highest profile in the public eye. It was also at this time that the BM saw its broadest membership base to date, with widespread appeal amongst the youth and a central core of activists in the Leader Guard. In late 1983 Mr McLaughlin stepped down from the Movement and closed the National offices in Shotton. However the hardcore activists and Leader Guard refused to let BM die off and salvaged the Movement, re-structuring and re-organising under the collective leadership of the "1984 Committee". From that point on British Movement has continued and operates under the structure set down in 1984.

About British Movement

The BM agenda is different to that of other Nationalist organisations in the UK, both in terms of policy and ideology. British Movement is a National Socialist organisation and operates on a system of networks, some overtly political, some community based, some informal, some covert. The original agenda of BM was to preserve and resurrect British National Socialism and to promote a National Socialist strategy within mainstream British National Politics. The British political situation has changed from the 1968 to 1984 period and BM has changed strategy; the continuation of British National Socialism remains a bed-rock, but now the main objective is the creation of a National Socialist counter - culture in Britain and a modern, NS alternative new - media with an active National Socialist organisation on the streets and in the community. British movement has its eyes set on a long -term strategy, and does not at this time enter into the electoral process, because the Movement believes that it is pointless to take part in a "rigged game".

As a dedicated National Socialist political organisation, our Movement believes that only by following the simple truths of the "14 Words" can the White Race survive in an increasingly hostile world. "

The aim and purpose of the British Movement is to create a mono-racial National Socialist state in Great Britain. However the British Movement is not so selfish and inward looking as to ignore the threat to all the White nations of the globe, especially the threat to the mainland of Europe by Third World immigration. As National Socialist we look towards solidarity with all genuine National Socialists and Racial Nationalists across the White World. British Movement supports the concept of "White Pride, World Wide".

The National Chairman of British Movement recently stated that, "If the Zionists are World-Wide, then the White racist movement must also be world-wide. To challenge the Zionist on equal terms, British Movement must work world-wide".
To this end British Movement seeks close collaboration with National Socialists and White racial political activists in all parts of Europe, Australia and New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and North and South America. Setting aside National and Regional differences, the threat posed to the White race on a global scale could not be greater. If our peoples are to survive into the next century, we must all work together against the common political and racial enemies that threaten our collective existence. British Movement is keen to work with our racial kindred across the world to bring about the Victory we need to secure a future for our children's, children's children.

To our racial kindred across the world we say; if your organisation is dedicated to preserving the White Race; if your organisation is totally opposed to multi-racialism; if your organisation in totally opposed to Zionism; if you are sworn to fight communism and internationalism; if you are against global capitalism and "their" New World Order then "Your fight is our fight".
