2000 Nationalists met up on the
3rd August 2002 for this years "German Voice" media party, to
"soak up" motivation and energy for their political fight for
a better Germany. Although the political speeches of N.PD. leader Udo Voigt, B.N.P. leader Nick Griffin, and chairman of the European-American Unity and Rights Organisation David Duke (U.S.A.) were cancelled, various other speeches and musical events went ahead. German musicians Frank Rennicke, Jorg Hahnel and Lars Hellmich, bands like Sleipnir and Spreegeschwader headlined an impressive evening all supported by the impressive crowd. Nationalist writers Jurgen Schwab and Karlheinz Mathias introduced new books and discussions about the methods and tactics employed by the secret service and the work of the Young National Democrats on the Internet added to the political programme. At the same time other events like folk dancing, draws and competitions were being held. Presentation stalls from all the different parties like the N.P.D, Action Groups etc were put up and activists of D.V.U, N.P.D, Republicans, as well as many young families with all came together. Besides the usual restrictions enforced by the Authorities, the police didn't have any reason to interfere and stayed clear, despite the right wing music, entertainment and lots of alcohol there wasn't a single arrest. After the application was made for the event, Konigslutter council came together for a special meeting, to try and stop the "party". But it only ended in the left being disappointed and even the proclamation by Chancellor Gerhard Schroder, that there would be mass riots and revolt came to nothing there was not one single counter demonstration on the day, only a silent protest by about one hundred lefties two days before. At the same time the extreme left winger and anti-Fascist (and now Federal Minister for the Environment) Jurgen Trittin held an election campaign, in which he started a public campaign against the right wing in his usual manner, demanding a ban on the N.P.D, but not even one hundred people attended to listen to him. The organisers of "German Voice" would like to thank everybody who attended the event for their disciplined appearance, positive mood and support! We are looking forward to next year's party and hope to welcome even more Nationalists to the event! |
