Tell us about some of the practices and views of Heathens.

Some Heathens meet on solstices with local organisations/gatherings of friends, they have varying names for these groups, some do nothing and never practice their faith, maybe they just educate themselves in the old mythology and history and talk with people about these things they learn. You don’t need to practice anything at all, our religion requires no downtime and you need not bow down to anyone, because the gods are like me and you but with a special power, each god will control something different, so say if the thunder god Thor needed another element's favour then he would in turn go and ask the god of that element for a favour, like you or I would. The gods, like us, are always learning from and by their mistakes exactly like we do in our lives. You should pay respect but you should not bow down below the gods, you are no lesser being. There are many many differences in Heathenism/Asatro/Odinism than any other religion in the world, and you will find that most similarities between our religion and the false religions of the mono-god are because they have either blatantly stolen our traditions or they could not kill our traditions so they changed them to be their own in order to manipulate our people. Christmas is one such tradition, as is Easter. I could say much more on these subjects but I would just stray from the question I think. Heathens embrace individual thought and this is how we are able to benefit each other. We embrace the individual that works for the better of his people, where Jesus condemns all forms of individual thought and forbids you question his motives. But these are only very small pieces of our belief system, and it’s not all about arguing with Jesus of course. We have a very in-depth worldview and a mythology that is incomparable in intricacy and beauty, and just as importantly it is 100% OURS. If you do intend to study more about Viking Mythology, Asatro, Rune stones, Heathenism then you must beware that there is more false sources than there is true ones. Don't expect to find anything that will enlighten your soul in a major chain bookstore. Most of these are just stupid self help books that compare our culture to others, which I believe is impossible because it cheapens both cultures.

So why should we as a people oppose Christianity?

Jesus was the self-proclaimed king of the Jews, so why should we worship him? Do you see any Jews worship Odin? Just because Jesus was rejected by his own people, it does not mean that he automatically becomes our messiah. No, for far too long we have sat idly by and applauded those who betray us. We believe that all teachings within Christianity and it's subsequent sister faiths (or cults!) - Catholicism, Islamic, Judaism, Mormonism and so on - are immoral and incorrect for Aryan people. These churches teach weakness and fear, we teach strength, pride and the importance of loyalty and folk-brotherhood. The church teaches that absolution is available for those who can afford it, that for a certain price no one has to take responsibility for their actions. How can you become a man when you learn nothing about life andnever take responsibility for what you do? The church in-turn grants absolution to those with open pockets while the poor gets threatened with hellfire. On top of this the church advertises in all forms of media!! How can one advertise religion like its a business, selling their special brand of the universal Jesus to all in order to defeat and remove individual thought. They take your money, molest your children, offer you nothing and protect their priests that molest the children, as if indifference to decency really is the driving force in the house of God. The laws of society are based around their incorrect and immoral doctrines and while society is clearly sliding into oblivion, the church is on the same decline. Take a look at the idea of "social conscience" which is a very Christian thing, whose agenda is that on? In my opinion "social conscience" is the worst thing to have ever happened to the entire human race and denies the very laws of nature itself. For instance, if you aren’t strong enough or smart enough to defend yourself or use the land you have to make crops and you cant sustain your population, then you die. That's nature. By prolonging the lives of people who cannot fend for themselves, you weaken the rest of the human race. If people of Germanic decent, coming from a very cold climate, can survive in a warm country like Australia, then surely this speaks towards our strength as a people and our ability to adapt and use what we have - our determination for survival, the only role that the Christians have played in this determination in the last 1000 years or so is attempting to remove this blood inherited privilege bestowed upon you.

Interestingly, did you know that the word "DEMON" is actually part of an old Scandinavian word, which translated to "Individual thought" roughly? This should give you an idea on what the church thinks about people who can still think for themselves!!

Please tell us about the current scene in Australia? Although the scene in Australia is small, I think its great. Most of the people in the scene are familiar with each other and there's a real sense of camaraderie. We have some of the greatest bands in the world and a great variety of styles. The music that Australian Skinheads, Metallers and Nationalists are producing now and also in the past really does raise the bar on the whole worldwide scene I believe.
