Bad News

Talk about pollution, well talk about the blues
Talk about corruption, talk about bad news
Things are happening ’round our heads
And there’s nothing we can do
The people all around you, complaining all the time
Thefts and rapes and problems, there’s the rising rate of crime
But politicians have done nothing, how can this be allowed

It’s bad news, it’s sad news
It happens all the time
It’s killing and it’s robbing
and it’s mugging, and it’s crime

See rape and murder, politicians fight
Some of them hate our country
So they try to stir up fights
But they’ll be doing nothing, seems to be the bottom aim
Our country’s over flowing, we ain’t got no room to spare
The tower blocks are crumbling and the walls are damp and bare
They can murder our national population into some squalid isle of thieves

Politicians tell us just what they’re gonna bring
How could you believe in them when they don’t do a thing
‘Cos we are only numbers in their selfish game of life
Their poisoning our old folk and there’s no decent job for you
Hang around street corners ‘cos there’s nothing else to do
And then they seem to wonder why the crime is on the rise

And all they done to make us mad yeah start to the final war
